I'm officially free from all assignments, tests, exams as today. Semester Three - END. Only 2 weeks of holiday but it's okay. At least I don't have to bother about assignments and classes anymore. Although, I'm bit sad coz I'll be missing the kitchen. The classes I look forward to the most are Bakery & Fermentation Products and Intro to Bakery & Pastry Skills. Why? Coz it is fun to bake. To get your hands dirty making cakes, pies and lots. I've learnt so many things and now I know a thing or two in making great pastry. I still need to perfect the skills as well as to master it. I'm learning, still. I consider myself as just a mediocre baker for now. Plenty of room to work on. :D
I don't know if I can still maintain a 3.0 up pointer. I hope I'll pass my marketing paper and food sanitation. The two subjects I most worry about. I bet new semester the subjects will be super boring coz it is short semester. No midterm, only final. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting only 2 subjects. That college is always like that. *sigh If next semester is bound to have boring subjects, I'll make sure I'm gonna ace the final. No more excuses.
There are so many things I wanna do during this 2 weeks of holiday. Cakes (with proper frosting coz I never frost a cake before), cookies and donuts. I hope I don't get distracted or stray away from my original plans coz I always do. I was never focused and distraction is my enemy. No.1 ENEMY~! -.-
So, that's for now. Oh yeah before I forget, I'll be making 'Donkatsu', 'Tonkatsu' or Japanese Pork Cutlets and Onion Rings this weekend. Why wait till weekend? Coz that's the only time I get to but fresh pork cutlets.
I hope my Donkatsu will turn out like this. :D
