Be more appreciative?

There are plenty of reasons why one should appreciate life. As for me, I could write tons of reasons on what makes me appreciate life. It is a never-ending list. Simply as waking up in the morning and you find yourself still breathing. That could be one of the reason. Having someone saying "You're Awesome" is also another reason. Remember, life doesn't revolves around you and you alone. You should go out and smell the roses and be thankful that you're still here.

It breaks my heart when I watch those unfortunates suffering with no food, no education and no other basic needs like we do here, the fortunates. We are basically spoon-fed by the government with subsidy, giving us the latest facilities and infrastructures. 

But how about the unfortunates? 

They have nothing. No one to count on other than the help from other countries. They are suffering far worse that we do but still some aren't grateful with what have been given. 

What I'm trying to say is, people always trying to have more, to gain more but they will never be satisfied because to them having more gives them power to go on or move forward or simply be ahead than others. It saddens me, it frustrates me and even sometimes I find rather amusing when I see these kind of people literally throw themselves just to get what they want when in fact is they already have what they really need. 

Why MORE? 

God always gives you what you really need and sometimes if your intention is good He will grant you what you really want. But this is not case. Ignorant people always want the petty things, the ridiculous things like sports car, more girls, more jewellery. This and that but never on their fundamental needs in life such as spiritual needs and mental needs. It is always on the exterior but not interior. Therefore, they're lacking in self-improvement and progress.
