While the rest of world is going crazy over the hot sexy kpop stars and their catchy songs, I sort of drawn myself away for awhile into the world of k-indie. There are times those utter repetition of kpop songs just sound so boring till it make me sick. I didn't mean to offend those hardcore kpop fans but seriously you can't just spend your time listening to that crazy beat that goes dubs dubs. Sometimes you need to take your time and listen to some good quality music. Here are some of my recommendation for y'all.
1. The Moonshiners
They just released a new MV. I got to know this band recently and their new MV looks promising. I can't wait for their tracks to be released. I don't know when but I will wait.
2. Trampauline
They are electronica/pop-based band. They sounded like most electronica bands you've heard. This is another new band I've discovered recently and I just fell in love with them right away.
3. Asoto Union
I'm not quite sure if they're still active but their old tracks are awesome especially "Think About 'Chu". They played funk mostly and blues. Not common genre in k-indie scene as well as kpop scene.
4. Ukulele Picnic
Ukulele is their main instrument in all of their songs. Their songs can be considered as cute and Hawaii-like. I just can listen to them all day long.
5. The Black Skirts
My current no.1 k-indie band. They are different from the rest I've heard so far. They sounded like most of the american/european bands. They well conversed in English and has been featured in one of Australia's tv show.
6. The Koxx
Another awesome worth listen to. Just like The Black Skirts, they sounded just like most of the american/european bands. In a good way of course. When I first listen to them, they just surprised me with their electronic/garage/rock feel to their sound which is rare in k-indie scene.
That's it for my k-indie stuff and another bonus song y'all have to listen to by 10cm.
